The Competition for the best site of the city Euro Crest is organized by the Czech association of Zlaty Erb (Gold @), in cooperation with the European Commission and european associations for building the information society.
Multimedia City Guide was awarded for implemented e-services and innovative solutions for city residents. Wojciech Pelc, chief editor of MCG, received a congratulatory letter at the hands of Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Czech Republic Premysl Sobotka.
Let us recall that this is not the first award for MCG. Last October the site of capital of Wielkopolska Region won the first place in the ranking of websites of “IT administration” press magazine.
Undoubtedly, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center has also contributed to the success of MCG. PSNC is not only the author of the technical side of the portal, but also of the applications which it contains. In agreement with the City Council, PSNC permanently designs and implements new and innovative IT solutions for the Multimedia City Guide.

On 14 March 2024, a new map of test and accelerator areas under the NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) programme was announced. The PSNC AerospaceLab in Kąkolewo is one of dozens of locations already selected in the North Atlantic Alliance for test centres (DIANA Test Centres). A new Polish contribution to the programme is the AGH University of Krakow, which together with the Krakow Technology Park will jointly run a branch of the NATO Defence Innovation Accelerator (Krakow DIANA Accelerator).
