SC’2012: welcome to our booth and blog!
This year, the world’s largest meeting of HPC environments, networking, storage and analysis, was held in Salt Lake City, Utah. The conference, taking place from 10th to 16th November, was accompanied, as every year, by the exhibition (12-15.11.2012), during which PSNC together with the PIONIER Consortium for the seventh time presented the Polish achievements in the field of ICT.
SC’2012 program focused on latest and most innovative activities in the field of applications, development environments, software, operating systems, architectures, intensive data processing and storage, networking, HPC security, as well as networks and clouds.

The results of the research work during the SC’2012 exhibition were also presented by the Polish delegation composed of representatives of Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and the PIONIER Consortium. At booth number 1901 PIONIER Network cloud services, Green HPC projects, NOVI and COOLEMALL were presented.

For the first time in the history of Polish research institutions to participate in the Conference of SC in the U.S., an online blog was created especially for this event. It contains, among others some information about PIONIER Consortium as well as a detailed description of projects and initiatives presented at the exhibition. For the first time SC’2012 participants could take part in the QR-code competition organized on the stand!
