Call for Lightning Talks on cybersecurity
Polish Academy of Sciences Poznań Branch and Poznań Supercomputing & Networking Center, organizers of international Euro-CASE 2017 conference on “Cybersecurity” (7th-8th November 2017, Polish Optical Internet Research Center in Poznań – Poland), announce a call for Lightning Talks for students (including Ph.D. students) especially dedicated for cybersecurity of emerging technologies.
The talks will be held in English, in the dedicated session scheduled at 8th November. The timeframe of the talk is up to 10 minutes, including time for questions and answers.

We invite you to submit your application by 30th September, 2017 via email (eurocase17talk@man.poznan.pl) with “Euro-CASE 2017 Lightning Talk call” topic.

We kindly ask you to include the following information:

  • Your basic personal information: name and surname (and, of course, the nick – if applicable)
  • Type and field of your studies (please mark also the year of studies)
  • Proposed topic of your talk with a brief description (up to 100 words in English)
  • Why should we select your application? (up to 50 words in English)
  • Contact data (if different than the sender’s email)

Selection will be made according to accuracy of the proposed topic as well as the quality of the provided justification for talk acceptance. The organizers will inform the authors of the accepted talks by 13th October, 2017. All authors of the accepted talks (up to 5) will be invited to the whole Euro-CASE 2017 conference with no conference fee.

Additionally, all authors will be rewarded with:

  • Valuable prizes
  • Diplomas from Euro-CASE, given by the Euro-CASE Chairman
  • Opportunity to complete an internship in PSNC Cybersecurity Department
