The pan-European GÉANT network and services enable research communities across Europe and the world to transform the way they collaborate on ground-breaking research. Together with the NRENs it connects the fast and reliable GÉANT communication infrastructure dedicated to serving Europe’s research and education community.


Now in its third term, the GÉANT project is responsible for the network and seeks to develop all aspects of European research and education networking:

  • Shaping the Internet of the future through the network and a portfolio of advanced services for the user community
  • Tackling the digital divide of research and education networking across Europe
  • Fostering technological research to assure Europe’s role at the forefront of networking and e-Science.

4K Projector (SONY SRX T-105) with a passive polarization system enables transferring the high resolution signal in 3D and was already installed in the 4K Laboratory of Poznañ Supercomputing and Networking Center.
"ICT for open access to scientific information" was the motto was held on 28 May in Brussels headquarters of the Promotion of Science Polish Academy of Sciences meeting with experts of the European Commission. The event, part of the project "Poland Meetings”, also attended by representatives of Polish research teams, including the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.
